Parking Structure Inspections
PIPS / Local Law 126
Local Law 126 requires comprehensive condition assessments of all parking structures in New York City. As a Qualified Parking Structure Inspector (QPSI), we perform full close-up inspections of structural elements — concrete slabs, beams, columns, ramps, expansion joints, and drainage systems — identifying deficiencies and classifying overall condition.
We prepare complete inspection reports and file them with the Department of Buildings, and when repairs are needed, we design and administer the full capital repair program from specification through construction closeout.

Engineering evaluation of structural conditions including concrete deterioration, steel section loss, and masonry bearing capacity.
Our structural assessments go beyond surface-level observation — we use sounding, selective probing, and non-destructive testing to quantify the extent of deterioration and design repairs that restore full structural capacity.
Shoring
Design
Saghari Architectural Services provides temporary shoring design for buildings undergoing structural repair, renovation, or adjacent excavation. Our engineers assess load paths, design steel or timber shoring systems, and prepare stamped drawings for NYC DOB filing. We coordinate with contractors and special inspectors to ensure safe, code-compliant execution throughout the construction process.

Full construction phase services for building envelope and structural repair projects. We review shop drawings and submittals, respond to contractor RFIs, conduct regular site visits to verify work quality, and certify completed repairs for DOB sign-off.

Anchorage systems are the hidden infrastructure that keep façade elements — stone panels, terra cotta ornaments, cornices, and decorative masonry — structurally connected to the building. SAS designs custom stainless steel anchorage solutions for historic and prewar buildings, engineering precise connection details that account for existing substrate conditions, thermal movement, and long-term load transfer. Every system is designed to meet DOB requirements while preserving the original character of the façade.
